The 2013 – 2014 Pupil Premium allocation is £47,000.
Our school budget allocation is used resourcefully to ensure a significant impact in learning for these eligible groups of pupils. This year we have been allocated £47,000 this year to narrow the attainment gap between FSM and Non FSM pupils.
Victoria Lane Academy has used this funding to:
- Employ additional teaching assistants for targeted intervention and in class support to achieve accelerated progress for underachieving FSM pupils.
- Provide specialist CPD for all school staff on writing, behaviour management and SEN provision.
- Employ a EYFS consultant to work alongside all EYFS staff and senior leaders to raise standards in our Nursery and Reception class in line with national expectations.
